2024 was one of the most challenging, out-of-the-comfort-zone years of my life.✨
I moved 3 times, became a certified personal trainer, got ready to start my own social media business and then fully pivoted into a (wonderful) full-time personal training job, got my first pull up, learned what true burnout feels like, found a new therapist, lost my love for posting & am slowly regaining it again, and much more.💌
The most consistent part of the whole year, my rock and bff was the gym. One of the biggest lessons was consistency over pushy perfection. Between a very physical job & training goals of my own, I reached bigtime burnout, ending the year with pneumonia and a huge reminder of how important actual rest and self-care is. ready to uplevel the rest & recovery game for 2025🥰

-fast/“cleanse”
-do hours of cardio
-cut out all your favorite foods
-be hungry all the time
-take “fat burner” supplements
-be in the gym 7 days a week
-cut out carbs
-think about fitness & health 24/7
so what WILL help you achieve your goals? ⬇️
start by focusing on these 3 categories:
1. Get at least 30g of protein with every meal & hydrate lots
2. Follow a structured 2-4 day resistance training program
3. Walk walk walk. Choose the stairs, go for a brisk 10 minute-er after each meal, park further away at the grocery store. Just walk it out!
Start here with these simple, attainable steps & watch how different you’ll begin to feel!✨
