Finding peace ….
Sometimes setting boundaries is the only way to protect your peace and well-being. It’s not always easy to walk away, especially when you’ve invested your time, energy, and heart. But when people cross lines, spread falsehoods, or bring negativity into your life, you have every right to choose yourself.
I’ve been there—it wasn’t easy, and not everyone understood. But I’m in a season now where I’m prioritizing my peace, my growth, and my truth. We don’t have to keep being selfless for people who are consistently selfish or unwilling to acknowledge the harm they cause.
Protecting yourself isn’t wrong. It’s necessary. 💛

Gary got to meet one of our favorite Celtics ever—Isaiah Thomas! Definitely jealous I missed that night. IT had so much heart and left it all on the court in Boston. We still miss him. Truly humble and respected—those are the players that matter most.🍀

You may be able to afford groceries - those single parents - elderly and so many more cannot!! I’m praying for a miracle - the anxiety to know where their next meal is going to come from is reality in a few days! Yes I’m angered by this - I was that single mom@with three kids - no child support but worked 40 hours yet still depended on food stamps and help with child care to@get us where we are today!! We were blessed and now I don’t have to think about going without - but it brings me right back there and my heart hurts for so many!!!

Grilled chicken with salad that includes apples and goat cheese and onion - salad dressing was a win- Apple cider vinegar with olive oil - organic honey and salt and pepper to taste … DELICIOUS 😋
