As we approach the holiday season, here's your friendly reminder that food is so much more than calories. It is also joy, love, family, and tradition. So before saying one of these comments to a family member (or yourself!!!), take a step back and instead soak in what you love about the holidays, what you love about your family, and how happy the delicious food is going to make you. You will never regret it ❤

I swear sometimes cravings can be so oddly specific, and for me this week it was a Chinese chicken salad. This homemade version was surprisingly simple, and so much more flavorful than the pre-mixed bagged version at the store. Recipe details below!!⁣
—————————————————————⁣
2 cups chopped romaine⁣
1/2 cup bagged coleslaw mix⁣
1.5 tsp sliced almonds ⁣
1 snack pack no added sugar mandarin oranges⁣
4 oz grilled chicken (I marinated with soy, garlic, ginger, and rice vinegar) ⁣
2 wonton wraps sliced thin and baked at 375 until crisp⁣
2 TB Braswell’s miso sesame scallion vinaigrette⁣

Macros: 350 cals, 40g protein, 33g carbs, 7g fat⁣
