Mark Richardson, MD, PhD is Director of Functional Neurosurgery at Massachusetts General Hospital, where he moved from the University of Pittsburgh in 2019. Dr. Richardson also is the Charles A. Pappas Associate Professor of Neurosciences at Harvard Medical School and a Visiting Associate Professor of Brain and Cognitive Sciences at MIT. The purpose of this page is to provide information on surgery for epilepsy, movement disorders, and psychiatric disorders, as well as related research in the Brain Modulation Lab at MGH.
