β˜ƒοΈ Simple mobility routine for soreness πŸ’¨

For those of us in New England sheltering in from the recent snowstorm/ blizzard, I have a simple mobility routine that can be done on the floor or on a bed or couch

Bonus points if you have a furry loved one that wants to join in!

This quick sequence of movements is helpful for those with knee hip pelvis or low back stiffness/ soreness. It could even be helpful for a neck soreness. Try it out! Let me know what you feel!

Kneeling adductor rocks
Figure 4 postures 🫁
Dynamic hamstring and myofascial chain movements
Diaphragm breathing in butterfly πŸ¦‹

🐎 Money Magic & Energy πŸ’Έ

I learned a few tricks to help my bald-headed beauty get an extra plump up treatment. Thanks for the advice 🫢

In preparation for the lunar new year and to aid my money tree, I added a few dollar πŸ’΅ bills to her soil.

It takes more than just sun and water for plants (and people) to survive - they need attention, witnesses, lots of talking, even a name! Placing money in her soil helps strengthen the relationship between us that it's not all just her growing and being pretty. There's also a give from me to her - placing money helps symbolize that it's a 2-way exchange πŸ’± Adding a little extra boost with Reiki and breaths helps to put the exclamation ‼️ at the end of the ritual 🫢

Speaking of names, what should I call her?? I'm taking all suggestions - the goofier the better πŸ€™πŸ’š

❄️ Snowy day moderate impact exercise 🌨️

It's been snowing A LOT in New England this winter. I personally love it! I have a strong romantic nostalgia to my childhood association with snow 🀷

Here is part 2 as teased in an earlier post...

If you don't have the ability or mobility to go outside and walk around in it, here are a few ideas to get you moving safely in your home - low impact addition πŸ€™

Grabbing hold of the sink or counter top:
- leg kicks sideways and back ways to improve blood flow and muscle activity
- push ups on the counter
- can add variety (the spice of life) like shoulder taps or even windmill openers (take caution with shoulder pain or instability)
- smile and vibes are mandatory πŸ€™

It's been snowing A LOT in New England this winter. I personally love it! I have a strong romantic nostalgia to my childhood association with snow 🀷

If you don't have the ability or mobility to go outside and walk around in it, here are a few ideas to get you moving safely in your home - low impact addition πŸ€™

Grabbing hold of the sink or counter top:
- perform 5-10 squats (can add a chair behind for added safety)
- heel raises to target the calves 🦡
- hip circles and hip flexion stretches

These are just a few ideas πŸ’‘ to keep you moving while the weather can be less than ideal for you.

Be sure to look for part 2 of a few more strenuous activities you can do at home during inclement weather 🌑️
