Building a spring wardrobe isn’t about adding more—it’s about choosing pieces that actually make getting dressed easier.

In Real Simple, Aricia shares the staples she relies on year after year, along with simple ways to style them so they work across different outfits and occasions.

We asked four fashion stylists to share their favorite spring wardrobe basics. Here are 15 of their top picks, including baggy jeans, perfect white tees, loafers, and more.

Plot twist: the most versatile accessory in your closet isn’t jewelry… it’s a well-fitted pair of statement denim 👖

Throw them on with a basic tank, tee, or long sleeve and BOOM — instant wow factor. Effortless but make it fashion.
Not into anything too loud? You don’t have to go wild. Try a subtle hue shift at the hem, a light splash pattern, or soft contrast detailing for that elevated edge.

Patchwork, distressed, splash work… basically denim that does the talking so you don’t have to 😉

Who knew your “accessory” was hiding in the jeans section?

Pairing sneakers with dresses seems simple—but the type of sneaker you choose can completely change the feel of the outfit.

In this article, Aricia shares with Byrdie how different styles shift the tone from casual to polished, and how to think about that balance when getting dressed.

We asked the experts and rounded up at different sneaker types that go great with dresses for the perfect spring combo.

Spring blazers just hit different 🌸✨

There’s something about a blazer in the spring that makes every outfit feel instantly elevated. It’s the perfect third layering piece—light enough to keep things fresh, but structured enough to pull everything together.

Lately I’ve been reaching for blazers in soft, Easter-inspired pastels and playful prints… think lilac, butter yellow, mint, and subtle florals.
It’s giving effortless polish without sacrificing comfort. Whether you’re dressing up denim or layering over a flowy dress, a spring blazer is that go-to piece that does just enough.

Who else is leaning into pastels this season? 💐

This is another of the most common concerns I hear from clients: feeling “top heavy” in certain styles. And honestly? A lot of popular tips and trends can actually make it worse, not better.

As someone with a smaller bust, this hasn’t been my personal struggle—but working with women who do feel this way has taught me so much about what actually works.

Here’s the truth: it’s not your body that’s the issue. It’s how the clothing interacts with your proportions.
A few visual tricks that can make a big difference:

• Opt for open necklines (like V or scoop) to break up fullness
• Avoid high necks or bulky detailing across the chest
• Go for structured fabrics instead of clingy ones
• Balance your silhouette with volume on the bottom (A-line skirts, wider leg pants)
• Use vertical elements (seams, buttons, layers) to elongate
• Use necklaces and accessories to draw the eyeline downward

The goal isn’t to “hide” anything—it’s to create balance in a way that feels good to you.

If your closet is full but you still feel like you have nothing to wear, read this!

Aricia shares with New York Post how the “cost-per-wear” mindset reveals what’s actually worth keeping—and why so many closets are filled with almost-right pieces that never get worn. It’s a simple shift that changes how you shop, edit, and build a wardrobe that truly works.

If your spring wardrobe still feels stuck in last year, this might be why.

In this feature with Women.com, Aricia shares where things are actually headed—away from tight, restrictive silhouettes and into more movement, volume, and expressive styling. She also breaks down how to wear these newer shapes in a way that feels modern (not overdone) and why some of the most popular looks are quietly starting to feel dated.

Maxi or midi? It’s not just about length—it’s about how the whole outfit comes together.

In this article with Byrdie, Aricia breaks down the subtle details most people miss: where the hem should hit, how shoe choice completely changes the look, and why the same skirt can feel effortless or off depending on proportion. If you’ve ever tried a skirt on and thought “this should work… but doesn’t,” this will explain why—and what to do instead.

Maxi and midi skirts are both popular these days, but how do you tell the difference between the two? Ahead, we explore both categories, plus how to decide which length is best for you.

Happy Sunday! Spring always makes us work hard for it first—while we wait on solid weather, here’s some of my favorite quick and dirty tips to stay as cute (or at least feel fun) as possible despite it 🌧️🌷

A waterproof trench—or any trench— I chose a fun pattern to take a break from the overload of wintery blacks

Plus magical my secret favorite: a snap-on waterproof hood that works under EVERY jacket you own. That’s right…turn all of your jackets into waterproof hoodies! 🪄

Waterproof boots are a forever favorite (patterns and all—rain boots never clash). I love a slight but comfy heel so I still feel a little lifted and semi-chic in case errands turn into a dinner resy😉

Hoping for spring flowers soon—we are so close!

Don’t let one simple detail ruin your whole outfit 👀
Horizontal lines can totally change how your look comes together—but the good news? You can style around them 🙌

Watch this for easy tips to avoid or soften the effect and level up your outfits ✨

🚨 Not all reds are created equal on you..

In this reel I’m trying on different shades of red to show how the right undertone can either enhance your features—or completely wash you out.

As a Muted Autumn, watch what happens:
🔥 Fire engine red makes my skin look yellow.
🍓 Raspberry is slightly better… but still not quite right.
🍂 Reds with brown undertones? That’s where the magic happens. Suddenly my skin looks clearer and my eyes pop.

It’s not about the color itself—it’s about the undertone and intensity that works with your natural coloring.

Are you a Spring, Summer, Autumn, or Winter?
And within that… are you True, Muted, Bright, or Cool?

Learn your color palette so your clothes accentuate your glow instead of stealing it.

Your clothes are speaking before you do.

Not in a superficial way—but in a visual, immediate way. The way something fits, the lines it creates, the colors you choose… it all communicates something about you.

Most of us were never taught how to understand that language. So we guess. We copy. We default.

But when you start to understand the why behind what works for you, everything shifts. Getting dressed becomes clearer, more intentional—and a lot less frustrating.

This is what The Style Formula is about: giving you the tools to understand your own visual messaging so you can show up the way you want to.

Because it’s not about changing who you are.
It’s about expressing it—on purpose.
