We forget that the brain is an organ, it functions on, and is created from, the foods we eat. When our brain is healthy, it works better. And when it works better, we make better choices. And when we make better choices, we create better lives for ourselves. So this January 6-20 I’m throwing an online program maximizing brain health to make you more resilient to all the things life tosses your way. Imagine clearer thinking, improved mood and memory, enhanced focus, better sleep, and great stress response. This program is excellent for anyone who just wants to enter the new year with both hands on the wheel to make 2025 your best year ever. As we go into Thanksgiving gatherings, we may be catching up with many friends and family members who are struggling with health conditions. While I am far from being anti-medical, one place where the medical community often falls short is the ability to recommend supportive nutrition alongside medical treatments. As a functional nutritionist, yes I help people lose fat and gain muscle, but one place where my training really shines is helping people improve digestion, balance hormones, and find supportive diets for health conditions. One thing most of my clients get wrong is having fruit, pancakes, cereal, sugar, and other sugary carbs at breakfast. This causes blood sugar to spike high and then crash low, leading to unstable energy and cravings all day. Choose protein, healthy fats, and veggies to start your day with instead :)

I realize most people won't see this without me posting a selfie or paying hundreds of bucks to Meta, but here goes anyway! 😜 My Nutrition For Mental Energy 2 week online group program starts next week, and below is a breakdown of each session. If you are looking to improve memory, increase concentration and focus, reduce stress, get better sleep, and have a more positive mood, then this program is for you!

Day 1 : Introduction, program overview, overview of language and terms, overview of dietary guide.

Day 2 : The brain and proteins/amino acids and neurotransmitters, water soluble vitamins.

Day 3 : The brain and dietary fats/omega fatty acids, fat soluble vitamins, cholesterol and hormones, stress and the endocrine system.

Day 4: The brain and carbohydrates, food timing for strongest lasting mental energy, optimizing digestion for best nutrient absorption, gut health and the brain.

Day 5 : Additional supplements, nootropics, exercise and the brain, program review, program closeout.

This program also includes PDF handouts, private FB group with discussions and Q&A, one 30 minute private nutritional consultation per member (which I have never offered in a group program before! :) and more!

As a musican who’s been touring since 2007, there is no way I’d still be doing this (and enjoying it) without learning what my brain needs to function optimally onstage, in the studio, and in day to day life - inspite of late nights and waking up from 7 hour redeye flights (like in the photo below). For my friends here who have been struggling with depression, brain fog, lack of focus, and low energy, I would like to invite you to my online program for Nutrition for Mental Energy. So I've decided to make this year's annual 2 week fall nutrition group online program all about Nutrition for Mental Energy.
