This genuinely makes me so happy to announce. Amy has been part of this YSK community 15 years, since before any YOTVs existed, when I was teaching at studios in Western Ma. Im so so proud to see her achieve this 💗
Amy completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training not through an easy season, but through one that demanded extraordinary courage, perseverance, and devotion. Over the course of this journey, she continued to show up through profound personal transitions, healing, and the many shifting realities of life, embodying the very essence of yoga: returning again and again to the present moment.
Her final research project explored trauma-informed teaching, nervous system regulation, interoception, healing through breath and movement, and the responsibility teachers carry to create spaces rooted in safety and compassion. It was thoughtful, brave, deeply researched, and unmistakably authentic.
Amy’s completion is a reminder that growth does not require perfect timing, only sincerity, resilience, and the willingness to keep coming back. We are so proud to welcome her across this threshold and cannot wait to witness the light she brings as a teacher.
