“I just went for it.” 💜

Lou shared her lupus journey at work for World Lupus Day, delivering a powerful presentation to raise awareness and encourage empathy. From wearing purple to asking questions, her coworkers showed up and so did she.

Diagnosed at 15 with SLE and now living with psoriatic arthritis, Lou reminds us that lupus looks different for everyone and speaking up makes a difference.

We’re so grateful to Lou for sharing her voice as part of our Spotlight the Voices of Lupus Warriors campaign.

Today, we remember and honor Mike 🤍
Our founder’s godfather, father figure, and one of the guiding lights behind Cryptic Wings.

Mike wasn’t just family, he was a mentor, a believer, and a builder of dreams. He helped inspire the creation of Cryptic Wings and even designed our logo, leaving a lasting imprint on our mission and heart. His love, creativity, and support helped shape not only this organization, but the person who leads it.

We are so grateful for all he poured into us. Life simply isn’t the same without him, and he is deeply missed every single day.

To the lupus warriors celebrating Father’s Day, whether your father is here, watching from afar, or remembered with love, we’re sending special hugs your way. 💜
