Big milestone for our PET/CT team 🎉

We’ve just scanned our first patient at our second fixed PET/CT site in the UMass network. Bringing two fixed PET/CT locations online in December was a true team effort, years in the making — congratulations to everyone involved.

Our Shrewsbury location has grown into a true center of excellence, and this latest PET/CT advancement is one more way we’re expanding access to high-quality imaging for our community. ✨

Sonic 3D MRI is opening up so many opportunities in MRI, and we're the first in the world to have it. This AI reconstruction technique is providing higher quality images for our patients, with even shorter scan times than previous AI capabilities. A game changer just in time for the holiday season!

This holiday season, our Shields Cares Crew has been out in full force — and we couldn’t be prouder.

✨ Out in Western MA, some of our amazing colleagues visited the Ronald McDonald House of CT & Western MA, helping transform the home for the holidays with festive décor and preparing a warm, comforting meal for families staying there.

✨ And this week in Brockton, another dedicated volunteer group spent the morning at Father Bill’s & MainSpring’s Smith Family Housing Resource Center, where individuals experiencing difficult times were able to “shop” donated items, have their gifts wrapped, and enjoy hot chocolate served with a smile from our team.

Together, we are lifting spirits, supporting our communities, and making the season brighter for those who need it most.
