Another Wisconsin Chapter of the AAP Advocacy Day in the books! First time in the unusual venue of a comedy club 😄, accompanied by our spokescow Dr Moo.

We spoke with legislative offices about online environments and digital media, and how they relate to the health of children and youth. A fulfilling day, as always. 😤

Dipesh Navsaria: Vaccines are among the best-studied medical interventions, and yet disproven myths are being brought up again along with new ones.

Reach Out and Read Wisconsin could not have reached 15 years without the support, dedication, and work of its Advisory Council.

Our Advisory Council members serve as strategic champions of our mission, key ambassadors who bridge the gap between our program and the community, and advocates who work to secure the visibility and resources necessary to sustain our impact in every clinic.

If you are passionate about shared reading, early relational health, and kindergarten readiness, join our council! We are looking for new members to support us in event planning, fundraising strategies, and clinic engagement.

Interested? Email wisconsin@reachoutandread.org with the subject line: Advisory Council.
