Sunny specializes in Thai Yoga Massage, Abdominal Detox Massage and Integrative Therapeutic Massage. Sunny is a dedicated massage therapist, educator, yogini, traveler, and artist, who has integrated her passions into one playful purpose: to explore health and human potential through the medium of Thai-Yoga-Massage. Sunny first discovered Thai Yoga Massage during a visit to Thailand in 2001. She i
nstantly fell in love with the sacred healing art (along with its foundational practices: yoga, meditation, Buddhist philosophy and Auyervedic Medicine), and devoted the next decade of her life to deepening her understanding of Asian healing practices and local wisdom traditions. During this period, she traveled extensively through Asia and other parts of the world, studying, teaching and collaborating with healthcare practitioners, philosophers, artists and eco-entrepreneurs from a variety of different cultures. Her collective journey produced a rich global-network of resources, and resulted in the creation of Integral Travel - a travel company specializing in unique cross-cultural, healing arts focused journeys and the Integral Touch Institute – an integrative Thai Yoga Massage certification program in Thailand and Bali. Along the way, Sunny had the privilege of sharing the methods and magic of Thai Yoga Massage with many individuals in marginalized and displaced communities: homeless single mothers in south London; low-caste young women in Bodhgaya, India; rural villagers in central Tibet; Tsunami survivors in southern Thailand; and high school students in a favela in Rio de Janeiro, among others. In each case she was struck by how intensely positive the experiences were, and how empowered the participants became once they mastered some basic Thai Yoga Massage skills. This insight led to Sunny’s latest creation - the ZIA PROJECT – a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting healing arts education in marginalized and displaced communities around the world.
