This April, we recognize Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM), a time dedicated to supporting survivors, emphasizing the importance of consent, and building safer communities. As 2026 marks 25 years of activism, this year’s theme encourages us to Look Back, Move Forward.
Show your support by wearing the color teal, sharing helpful resources, and advocating for meaningful change. Remember: You are seen, you are believed, and you are not alone.

Here’s a little bit about how you can get involved, whether you’re a student or not! 🏳️‍🌈

Today is Transgender Day of Visibility (TDOV)!
TDOV is an annual international celebration held on March 31 to honor the achievements, resilience, and contributions of transgender and non-binary people! Transgender activist Rachel Crandall-Crocker founded the day in 2009 to counter the lack of recognition for trans successes and to provide a space for joy rather than just mourning. Initially managed by Trans Student Educational Resources, it has grown into a global event recognized by major human rights organizations like the Human Rights Campaign and GLAAD.

March is Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Awareness Month, a time to highlight the need for a cure, support warriors, and educate the public on this often invisible, unpredictable disease. MS is a chronic autoimmune disease of the central nervous system where the immune system attacks the protective myelin sheath surrounding your nerves, causing communication issues between the brain and body. While there is currently no cure, with proper treatment and care, individuals with MS can and do lead fulfilling lives!
