This sweet 8-year-old is working with occupational therapist, Leah, at The Medical Center at Franklin. This week in therapy, Will engaged in a drawing/handwriting activity in a tall kneeling position to develop core strength, upper extremity endurance, and fine motor control.

These skills are essential for independence with activities of daily living and schoolwork. Keep up the good work, Will!

Keith Hoffman celebrated more than just his birthday during his therapy sessions at The Medical Center at Franklin. Within the standing frame, Keith was able to perform OT and PT therapeutic activities of opening his birthday gifts while maintaining a 10-minute dynamic stand, progressing toward his goal!

Pictured is Daniel Smalling, PT, who went above and beyond to help Keith celebrate the special day!
