To Our Valued Patients,
We understand that the sudden retirement of Dr. Tapp has come as a shock to many. Please know that this was not a planned or expected transition. Dr. Tapp was faced with an urgent and significant personal health issue that required him to step away from practice immediately—for his safety and well-being. His staff and colleagues were not given prior notice either.
Dr. Tapp has served this community with dedication, compassion, and professionalism for many decades. While we recognize how disruptive this situation may be, we respectfully ask for your understanding during this difficult time.
For any immediate medication needs, please visit an urgent care center. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 9-1-1 or go directly to the nearest emergency room.
We are working diligently to fulfill all medical record requests as quickly as possible. However, please remember that under HIPAA regulations, we have up to 30 days to comply with written requests. Our staff is processing a high volume of requests each day and doing their absolute best to assist everyone.
We ask that patients and family members refrain from directing frustration or hostility toward staff. While your feelings are valid, our team members are here to help and deserve to be treated with courtesy and respect. Being rude, making threats or calling the police will not speed up the processing of medical record requests.
Thank you for your patience and for allowing us the opportunity to continue assisting you in this transition of care.
