Winston and I stood by Cameran today for the first time in nearly 2 years! I am not going to lie, I kind of forgot how tall he is vertical.... that's all for today! 😁

What a CrAzY 5 days and 20 hours later! After Monday, by the time I posted, I was exhausted and decided to make a big post today about the week. Cameran passed all his range of motion scores from his last visit and got to walk with the Exoskeleton, G-EO, and pool. He also had his bone density scan completed which confirmed his head is hard as pavement... which we already knew😆. He played Xbox Connect, tried beating me in a design building game, and gave Winston a run for his money with both Othello and Checkers. He is sore from the hair on his head to his little toe and feels near death. 5 days down and 5 to go!

Our family is incredibly grateful to the Caroline County Board of Supervisors and our entire community for honoring Cameran with this Resolution of Appreciation and Encouragement.

This recognition means so much to us. The love, support, and encouragement we have received throughout Cameran’s journey have helped carry our family through some very difficult times. Knowing our community stands behind him gives us hope and strength.

Thank you for believing in Cameran and for continuing to support our family. We are truly blessed to call Caroline County home.💚

Cameran, his story, and inspiration is making it's way across the country and all it takes is one little bird! A friend who follows NBCOT informed me of him being shared on their platform. Definitely a little surprise we were not expecting! 💚

Occupational therapy students in the Virginia Commonwealth University OT program are putting client-centered practice into action by designing adaptive solutions that help individuals reengage in meaningful activities after injury. Their work creating customized fishing equipment allowed a young man with a spinal cord injury to return to the water, reclaim confidence, and participate in a valued pastime.
