🏠 Update!

Vinyl siding was completed today and I have no other words... being accepting of something of this magnitude is hard!

We are extremely greatful for the multiple crews that have worked endless hours to get us to this point. Everything is finally coming together!

We will forever be greatful for everyone we have worked with along the way thus far and RCI Builders will always hold a special place in my heart. They showed up and delivered more than we would have ever felt comfortable of asking for! 🙏

What's left...
☆ Deck and inside trim the beginning of next week.
☆Painting & Flooring
☆Front porch completion after we have access to the back door for coming and going.

Today was Sheetrock Wednesday!!! Tomorrow starts the fun part, mudding and will take about a week!

*That wall with the plywood, where the kitchen door once was, will open up into an arch way... making out kitchen look massive! That is also what an exterior wall of a home looks like from 1955!

All inspections have been passed and drywall is set for delivery tomorrow! 🙏🏠

It has taken us since March to get to this point. From March, to just a few weeks ago, it was a nothing but loopholes and paperwork.

It is such a surreal feeling the this portion of the house is connected to our house.

House Update 🏠

Last week we ran into a hiccup list of random issues when it was time for inspection. This inspection being the BIGGEST that included framing, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC...

All issues have been fixed and we are up for inspection tomorrow! Fingers crossed and Prayers that we pass this inspection tomorrow!

Want to talk about something important?! Airplanes not having wheelchair accommodation seating! Anyone wheelchair bound, is taken onto a plane and then carried to their designated seat for travel. Wheelchairs are then stored in the cargo area of the airplane, often becoming damaged by poor handling by staff or during transportation itself with air travel not being held responsible.

Could you imagine your $14,000 manual chair becoming damaged... let's not talk about your $75,000 power chair!

Please take the time to sign this petition in hopes of creating a change for the one's whom are confined to wheelchairs and love to travel!

We officially have a new roof all the way across! All water, plumbing, and electric has been ran! Getting so, SO close to being able to kick Cameran out of my livingroom! 😅
