That fatigue you feel two days after a work-out?
It’s delayed onset muscle soreness. It happens after a hiatus from exercise (Winter part 3. South Dakota!?!?! What?!?!?!?), or when you’re ratcheting up your regimen.
A day or so after your work-out do you feel like this ⤵️:
💪 muscles that are tender to the touch
💪 reduced range of motion from pain and stiffness
💪 muscle swelling
💪 muscle fatigue
💪 short-term loss of muscle strength
Massage can help lessen the lingering effect and shorten your muscles recovery time. It doesn’t have to be a long massage, and it doesn’t have to be intense. Don’t compound the fatigue with pain.
