Lambs Creek is an owner-occupied care facility housing four (4) co-ed adults with developmental disabilities and/or physical disabilities in Menomonie Wisconsin. Our younger and cognitive population creates a relaxed and engaging environment for both staff and residents.

Paving the way for more!
This week Lambs Creek is giving the driveway a face-lift, therefore we will see some creative parking happening with a small jaunt up the hill. Veichles cannot drive on the driveway Thursday 10/9- Monday 10/13 to give it time to cure. The driveway will be blocked off during this time as a visual reminder.

🌟 Today is Cerebral Palsy Awareness Day

Join us in recognizing and celebrating the incredible individuals living with Cerebral Palsy (CP) — a neurological condition that affects movement, muscle tone, and posture. CP is the most common motor disability in childhood and every person’s journey is unique.

💬 Cerebral Palsy is caused by abnormal brain development or damage/injury to the developing brain, often before or during birth. It does not define a person’s intelligence, value, or potential — and it certainly doesn’t limit the joy, strength, and love they bring into the world.

📍At Lambs Creek Group Home, we are honored to support several residents with CP in living full and meaningful lives. From their vibrant personalities to their daily perseverance, our members remind us that disability is not inability.

Lambs Creek suits employees who are hobbyists, students, Mothers, young adults (18+) seeking a first job, additional income as a second job, or really anyone looking for a relaxed purposeful occupation!

Lambs Creek has excellent staff retention, a strong established team, and steady management support. Lambs Creek promotes a low stress and balanced work environment. Our Members are pleasant, thoughtful, and patient.

We are hiring for a mixture of either full or part-time shifts including:
• Every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday) 7A-3P
• Two Overnight shifts 11P-7A
• Weekday Evenings 3P-11P

This week has been sunshine, smiles, and soil!

Members planted flowers for thier rooms and finished up making their bird feeders.

We have the vegetable garden going with much anticipated spinage, lettuce, celery, radish, onion, bell peppers, spicy peppers, carrots, tomatoes, corn, cucumbers, zucchini, chives, and dill.... just to name a few! Lots of fresh produce to use throughout the summer menus.

Any recipie ideas?

In the last week we made it to the virtual theme park and created a small in-home art gallery!

Our thoughts and love go out to the family, friends, and staff that have been such an intricate part of David's happiness and health. David was the first member Holly brought into our home in 2022 and has been undoubtedly the most joyous of us all. We already miss his laughter and playfulness.

This was an unexpected and tragic passing for us all and serves as reminder that nobody is exempt from complications from a routine surgical procedure.

Thank you to David and his family for allowing us to care so deeply for him.
