There’s no reason for a teen to have energy drinks.

This goes for adults as well. Not feeling good? Groggy, always tired, can’t focus? Look at the things you’re doing daily and what you’re surrounding yourself with. Change your environment, diet, daily habits and see if that helps.

Strong families don’t just grow together… they SWEAT together 💪❤️

There’s something pretty neat about turning workouts into family time. Laughing through the struggle, cheering each other on, and building healthy habits that stick for life. It’s not about perfection or intense routines… it’s about showing up, moving your body, and making it FUN.

Kids learn what they see. When they see strength, consistency, and self-care, they carry it with them forever.

Family workouts = stronger bodies, stronger bonds, and a whole lot of memories 💥

So grab your crew, let’s turn up the music, and make movement part of your family culture.

Because the best kind of quality time… is the kind that leaves you all stronger 💯

Flex Friday! 😉💪🏼

First… tomorrow’s workout is probably my favorite yet. 😊 So many of my favorite moves, weights, shorter timer, not out of breath jumping or running… 🤣🤷🏻‍♀️ But that’s just my preference!

Second! For those of you that didn’t know - I used to be able to lift very heavy weights 💪🏼 before I had my last kid but then I got injured in 2019. It was a slow recovery and I swear it was going to be the death of me (maybe a little dramatic) BUT that injury took a big toll on me mentally. Then I had my last kid and was mostly recovered and back into lifting “heavy-ish” but I still never felt as strong as I used to be.

I went to massage school and between working more and school - lifting was pushed to the side and I started running or doing other things for exercise but nothing is as fulfilling as weight lifting for me - personally. When I knew I was going to be opening a gym I finally had the space to get back into it and I have been SO happy.

Today when working out I realized the weights I was using was not far off from when I felt my strongest. I definitely don’t look how I did when I was lifting at my heaviest. Here’s what else I noticed..

Mentally - feeling so much better. Life was chaotic then. I was running from things and put it into my workouts.
Physically - feeling better less aches. I was not listening when I needed a break, never stretched before, didn’t get massages. I make sure to rest and recover now.
More energy - even though I’m waking up earlier and longer days I am going about my day with more energy! This I believe also stems from not being a single parent doing it all anymore vs then. And also working for myself is so much more energizing (even though stressful at times) 🤣

So, this is a good reminder to not look back. Don’t worry about the numbers. Don’t worry about what you used to be able to do vs now. Focus on the now. Work on feeling good. Having realistic goals that are sustainable.
Being healthy and not breaking yourself. You can’t move forward and you can’t feel good if you keep comparing yourself - and that’s even when comparing yourself to the old you. ❤️

Some days it’s heavy.
Some days it’s hard.
But you still showed up, and that’s what builds strength.

Today was that day. You all came in and worked HARD. It was tough. But nobody quit. And after? You were smiling when you walked out because you knew you just accomplished that workout. I’m SO proud of the progress and improvement in everyone so far. The growth has been pretty amazing in just a few short weeks! I hope you all are proud too!

Maybe harsh but true!

When people say they don’t have time but screen time is 6-7 hours for the day… you sure? Or are you not putting your priorities where they align with what you’re wanting?

Check yourself! Maybe you need to reset somewhere. Going to the gym but don’t understand why you aren’t seeing results? What are you doing with the other time? How are you eating? Are those things aligning with what you are wanting?

Make time for what’s important and push out the stuff that’s time wasters not allowing you to get where you want to be.

Happy Sunday! Rest, stretch, take a nice walk, meal prep, drink your water or read a good self help book! Do something good for your day! ☀️

Foodie Friday!! 🍴

What are you eating after a hard workout?? This is not my go to after a hard workout but it’s not a bad combo for a good high protein breakfast choice.

After a hard workout I like to replenish with a healthy carb and protein. I’ll make it a little more carb heavy to help energy recovery but that protein is a must for muscle recovery!

Don’t be scared of carbs just choose healthier carbs!!

Tomorrow…. 💪🏼 It’s Fri-yay! So we have to finish the week STRONG!! Be ready to work hard!!

Full body- all planned out for you - you just have to show up! Bringing your best effort (whatever that may mean for YOU) and all done in 45 minutes!! HIIT workouts are so effective because they pack a lot of results into a short amount of time by pushing your body hard, then letting it recover briefly, over and over.

If you have a teen that’s maybe not in a sport currently but they personally want to stay in shape or run through a workout at the gym - reach out! Our 4:45pm session has room and we usually have a couple come in to get a workout in. 💪🏼
