One of the quiet fears many Christian moms carry is this:
“If I feel overwhelmed… does that mean I’m not trusting God enough?”
But motherhood doesn’t only affect your faith.
It affects your nervous system.
Your brain and body are processing constant responsibility, emotional load, interrupted sleep, and identity shifts all at once.
Feeling overwhelmed doesn’t mean you’re weak.
It doesn’t mean you’re doing motherhood wrong.
And it doesn’t mean you’re not praying hard enough.
It means you’re human.
This clip is from one of our live conversations inside the Regulated Motherhood community, where we talk about how God designed our nervous system and how understanding it can actually help us work with our bodies instead of fighting against them.
Because faith and nervous system regulation were never meant to compete with each other.
