**Alma Hybrid CO2 Laser Update: Day 5**
Day 5 post-Alma laser, and I want to share an honest progress report. Today, I ventured outside—hat and sunscreen on—but the combination of heat and sun exposure caused a few scabs to open and bleed a bit. This isn’t unusual with the nature of the treatment, which intentionally creates controlled injury to encourage skin renewal.
I’m still seeing some redness and a visible grid pattern, both expected at this stage. The good news: there’s no pain, and overall, healing is progressing well. Most patients (myself included) can expect to be fully healed between days 7 and 10.
**If you’re considering laser treatment, here’s what to know:**
- Even with protection, your skin remains sensitive to heat and sun for several days post-procedure.
- Minor bleeding or scabbing can happen—this is part of the healing process.
- Redness and grid marks are normal and temporary.
- Most people are fully healed within 7–10 days.
I’ll continue to share updates and tips on protecting your skin during recovery. If you have questions about the process or want to learn more about what to expect, feel free to reach out.
Stay tuned for more updates as healing continues.
