“I was taught to love others more than myself — and for years, I thought that was the key to being a good partner. 💔

But what I learned is that kind of love isn’t authentic. It creates fear, people-pleasing, and disconnection.

Real love means showing up as your whole self. It’s not selfish — it’s sacred. 🌿

In this week’s Live Brighter with Tara episode, Mike and I share how we’re learning to rebuild love through honesty, vulnerability, and spiritual growth. Because healthy love starts when both people do the inner work. 💡

✨ “Radical honesty is how love learns to breathe again.”

When we stop pretending and start speaking truth—with kindness and courage—love begins to heal. 💬💛 Honesty doesn’t destroy connection; it purifies it. It clears the air, softens the walls, and invites real intimacy back in.

In this week’s Live Brighter with Tara, Mike and I open up about our own relationship journey—the boulders we’ve hit, the growth we’ve found, and how vulnerability and spiritual awareness have helped us reconnect more deeply than ever.

🎧 Tune in to learn how radical honesty can bring life back into love. Live on all podcast platforms!

Conflict doesn’t mean your relationship is failing. 💔
Sometimes, it’s the invitation to heal.

Mike and I learned that love isn’t about keeping the peace at the cost of your truth — it’s about showing up authentically, even when it’s uncomfortable. ❤️‍🔥

When we both stopped people-pleasing and started speaking honestly, everything began to change. Real connection requires courage, not perfection.

This week on Live Brighter with Tara, we open up about our journey — from unresolved conflict and old trauma to deeper love, vulnerability, and spiritual growth.

✨ “When we understand our emotions, they stop running the show.”

Emotions aren’t here to control you—they’re here to guide you. 🐿️ When we take time to notice them, name them, and care for them, they lose their grip and give us space to choose how we want to respond.

In this week’s Live Brighter with Tara, I share the “cartoon squirrels” analogy 🐿️💛—a playful yet powerful way to see your emotions differently. Instead of chaos, you’ll find clarity, compassion, and even a little humor.

🎧 Tune in now and start leading your squirrels instead of letting them run wild.

🐿️✨ What if your emotions weren’t random… but a bunch of cartoon squirrels in your head?

From the bully squirrel that says “you’re not enough,” to the people-pleaser, perfectionist, and fearful squirrel — we ALL have them. The secret isn’t to silence them, but to listen, soothe, and guide them with compassion. 💜

This week on Live Brighter with Tara, I share how the “squirrel analogy” can help you:
✔️ Understand your emotions without judgment
✔️ Stop triggers from running the show
✔️ Practice real self-care (beyond bubble baths)
✔️ Turn chaos into clarity

✨ “Don’t silence your emotions—listen to them, soothe them, and guide them with kindness.”

Your emotions aren’t random or wrong—they’re little messengers trying to be heard. 🐿️ When we ignore them, they cause chaos. But when we listen with compassion, they become guides toward healing, clarity, and peace.

In this week’s Live Brighter with Tara, I share the “cartoon squirrels” analogy—a playful yet powerful way to understand your inner world. Learn how to calm the chatter, honor your feelings, and lead your squirrels with kindness. 🌿💛

Your emotions aren’t random—they’re like little squirrels in your mind. 🐿️ Some are fearful, some protective, some playful… and all of them just want to be heard.

When we ignore them, they cause chaos. But when we listen, soothe, and guide them, we create peace and clarity. 🌟

This week on Live Brighter with Tara, I dive into the ‘Cartoon Squirrel Analogy’—a lighthearted but powerful way to understand and manage your emotions with compassion.

✨ “Don’t give the steering wheel to someone else’s opinions.”

How often do we let other people’s voices drive our choices? 🚍 Whether it’s a critical parent, a partner’s judgment, or society’s expectations, giving away the wheel leaves us lost.

This week on Live Brighter with Tara, I share the “school bus analogy” — a powerful way to recognize your triggers, honor your past selves, and reclaim the driver’s seat of your life. When you choose to steer with your own wisdom, the ride becomes freer, calmer, and more authentically yours. 💛

🎧 Tune in now and take back the wheel.

A change of scenery. Mike and I have been enjoying our Colombia house. Relaxing in our finally finished pool. …Healthy fresh and delicious food. Beatiful birds, frequent walks. Enjoying to town and people, sharing coffee with the sunrise on our patio.
