When your blood pressure is well controlled, your heart doesn’t have to work as hard.

Keeping your blood pressure in a healthy range helps your heart pump more efficiently, reduces strain on your arteries, and lowers your risk of heart disease over time.

Small daily habits—like staying active, eating well, and managing stress—can make a big difference.

In this series, Noah Kumar shares how simple actions on and off the golf course can support your heart health.

Warming up isn’t just about performance — it’s about protecting your heart.

Simple movements before activity can help:
✔️ Improve circulation
✔️ Gradually increase heart rate
✔️ Reduce strain on your heart

In this video, Noah Kumar reminds us that even light preparation can make a difference in how your body — and your heart — responds to exercise.

Because heart health starts before the activity begins.

👉 Follow along for more simple ways to support your heart every day.

Most people don’t realize that plaque can build up in your arteries silently — long before symptoms appear.

A carotid ultrasound is a simple, non-invasive test that helps detect early signs of atherosclerosis by looking at the arteries in your neck.

Why does this matter?
Because this same process is what can lead to heart attacks and strokes.

Early detection gives us the opportunity to act sooner, reduce risk, and protect your long-term health.

If you have risk factors like high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, or a family history of heart disease, this test may be an important step.

Prevention starts before symptoms.

Most people don’t think golf is a cardiovascular sport… but it absolutely is.

Walking the course, staying active for hours, managing stress, and maintaining focus — golf engages your heart more than you might expect.

In this new series, Noah Kumar takes us onto the course to show how golf can support your cardiovascular health in real life.

Because heart health isn’t only built in the gym… it’s built through consistent movement and lifestyle.

👉 Stay tuned as we break down how everyday activities — like golf — can make a real difference for your heart.

Atrial fibrillation increases the risk of stroke.

For many patients, that risk is reduced with blood thinners — but blood thinners aren’t the best solution for everyone.

In AFib, most stroke-causing clots form in a small area of the heart called the left atrial appendage.

That’s why alternative options, such as left atrial appendage closure, may be considered for the right patient.

If you have AFib and concerns about long-term anticoagulation, talk to your cardiologist about your options.

Understanding your risk is the first step toward protecting your heart.
