Faculty Spotlight!
Our Clinic Director, Adam Bailey, DOM, AP, obtained a Master’s degree in Oriental Medicine from Dragon Rises College and has expertise in sports medicine, Shaolin Wahnam Qi Gong, and food fermentation. In addition to being the Clinic Director, he coordinates outside externships and works as a faculty member, sharing his vast knowledge in Herbal Medicine and COM courses. Battlefield Acupuncture Seminar, May 16th-17th: Battlefield Acupuncture (BFA) is an Auriculotherapy (also called ear acupuncture or auricular acupuncture) protocol that was invented by Dr. Richard Niemtzow, MD. This unique technique uses semi-permanent ASP® needles to activate ear points in order to influence the processing of pain in the central nervous system. Dr. Niemtzow is a retired Air Force colonel and was the first full-time physician acupuncturist in the Armed Forces. He originally conceived this technique as a way to deliver pain relief through acupuncture as quickly and efficiently as possible in combat and other military situations. To Register:
