Group therapy is one of the most powerful parts of the recovery process. It helps break isolation, build connection, and create space for real healing to happen.

In our latest blog post, Primary Clinician Alicia Lambert, LADC II, shares how group work supports growth, vulnerability, and lasting change.

Five years of recovery. Five years of choosing a different path.

Today we’re celebrating Luis and this incredible milestone. What started with a decision to ask for help turned into five years of growth, resilience, and rebuilding a life.

Recovery isn’t about being perfect. It’s about showing up, doing the work, and believing that something better is possible.

Luis, we’re proud of you. The best is truly yet to come. 💙

Nine years.

Nine years of growth, resilience, and choosing a different path.

Recovery is not easy, but milestones like this remind us why the work matters. Watching someone go from struggling to thriving is one of the most powerful parts of what we do.

Congratulations to Brittany on celebrating 9 years in recovery. Your journey continues to inspire everyone around you.

Recovery is full of firsts.
First meeting. First step. First time realizing you are not alone.

For many people, the 12 Steps become a framework for real change. A way to take things one day at a time, rebuild trust, and start living differently.

One of the most powerful things to witness is the shift from hopeless to hopeful. The moment someone starts to believe life can look different.

Every journey starts somewhere. This was one of those moments.

Our team showed up big this year, so we decided to spin things up a little for Employee Appreciation Day. 🎉

We think our Employee Appreciation Wheel was a bit hit - packed with cash prizes, gift cards, and a few fun surprises along the way.

Because the work our team does every day deserves more than just a thank you. 💙

Black Balloon Day reminds us of the lives lost to overdose and the families and communities who carry that loss every day. 🖤🎈

Today, we pause to reflect on the lives taken by addiction and overdose. Every life lost mattered - someone loved, someone deeply missed, someone whose story deserved more time.

At Rockland Recovery Group, we stand together in remembrance and in hope. By raising awareness, supporting recovery, and continuing the conversation, we work toward a future where fewer lives are lost and more people find their way to healing.

If you or someone you love is struggling, know that help is available and recovery is possible.

We’re honored to share the incredible ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ feedback we’ve received.

Recovery isn’t just about stopping a behavior - it’s about helping people and families rediscover hope, connection, and a new way forward. Hearing that our program has made that kind of impact means everything to us.

“If you, a friend, or family member truly care about recovering from alcoholism, this is the place for you…they will change the life of the sufferers, family and children included.” - Corey B., Google Review

Clinical care should feel human.

Because healing doesn’t happen through checklists alone - it happens through connection, trust, and feeling truly seen.

At Rockland Recovery Group, we believe evidence-based treatment and genuine compassion go hand in hand. Our clinicians don’t just follow protocols - they build relationships. They listen. They show up. They create a space where people feel safe enough to do the real work.

Recovery is deeply personal. Care should be too.

If you or someone you love is looking for support, we’re here to help. 💙
