Want to shrink your size? Try these tips on for size!!!
Today's private Diet Logic sessions with Julie and Patty were filled with information and we expect great results for sure with each client's willingness to learn new behaviors, practice them and be consistent enough to allow their bodies to give feedback.
What sort of feedback should they expect after about three to four weeks?
First, since they are eating cleaner, many cravings are beginning to disappear and be replaced with all sorts of nutritious, whole foods they have found palatable.
Second, for the first time, they are waking up hungry. Hungry enough to begin eating upon rising vs putting everyone first as the hustle, bustle in the morning begins. Now the goal to eat by 8 am is attainable.
Third, by eating lower glycemic carbohydrates they are not experiencing blood sugar drops, insulin spikes and now are enabled to see their waistline shrinking as they increase their cardiovascular activity and begin to achieve a deficit in their stored fat reserves.
Fourth, with a greater sense of confidence, they are armed with eating speed and other behaviors as they consume meals. Suddenly, they feel full. The feedback, fullness is critical. Being full and satiated, touted and proven to be a sustaining benefit of a great plan.
And, knowing when to stop eating, when full will enable them to reduce the risk of over eating.
This feedback must be listened to. Validation and confirmation of the feedback helps solidify a job well done. A sense of success.
Moving on to next week, they will continue to be on the lookout for high risk eating situations and pending slip-ups. We role played about identifying emotion based eating and what actions to take. Stop, look, and listen to what is going on in the head. Keep the thinking positive and action oriented.
