DYK passed bi-partisan HB 14-1051 promising to end the IDD / Medicaid waitlist by 2020, but as of MARCH 2026 one party rule has still FAILED to fund that promise. Today, thousands of Colorado’s most vulnerable citizens are still languishing on waitlists for years while politicians prioritize undocumented recipients and ineligible providers... instead of the people these programs were created and intended to help.

LET THAT SINK IN.

Bi-partisan HB 14-1051 passed a republican state senate and democrat state house in Colorado. It was signed by then Governor John Hickenlooper. It's 2026 and thousands of American citizens with disabilities in Colorado remain unfunded and on waitlists while ineligible recipients are prioritized over the most vulnerable.

That means calling out every BS local charity and unlawful state & local DEI policy that intentionally prioritizes select groups based on opinions and politics... not statistical evidence, documented diagnosis, or federal civil-rights laws. Unlawful DEI is exposed when ineligible groups are prioritized over people with invisible but documented disabilities because they are the wrong color, gender, don't look disabled, etc. Being a certain race, gender, orientation doesn't come with a documented diagnosis and limitations... visible and invisible disabilities do! It's not about diminishing other causes it is about our cause being included equally. That is what the I in DEI stands for... right?
