* Defensiveness in Communication: Feeling a surge of anger when receiving feedback, as your nervous system interprets it as an attack.

Feeling Stuck? Let's Talk About the Freeze Response 🧘‍♀️

Ever feel like you're just... frozen? Like no matter how hard you try, you can't move forward emotionally or physically? You're not alone.

When our nervous system gets stuck in a freeze state, it's like hitting the pause button. Our body and mind shut down in response to stress or perceived danger, especially when fighting or fleeing doesn't feel like an option.

Emotional Signs:
Numbness or disconnection 🌫️
Overwhelming indifference 😶
Feeling "out of body" or detached
A deep sense of helplessness 🤍

Physical Signs:
Muscle stiffness or rigidity 🪢
Slowed heart rate and shallow breathing
Extreme fatigue or low energy 🥱
Digestive issues
Feeling literally "frozen" in place ❄️
But here's the good news: There are gentle ways to "thaw" and reconnect.

Ways to Begin Unfreezing:
