A reminder that Symbiotic Wellness will be at the WillCo WellFest on May 16. This community event brings together health professionals, wellness practitioners, and local organizations focused on improving health and well being.

If you attend, stop by the booth to say hello and learn more about:
• Pelvic health
• Hormone support
• Nervous system regulation
• Chronic pain care

Event special: Visitors who stop by will receive $100 off health coaching sessions.

I look forward to meeting members of the community and answering questions about women’s health and pelvic wellness.

Go beyond basic “core work” to discover the essential relationship between your breath and your pelvic floor.

Whether you’re dealing with tension, weakness, disconnection, or just curious about how your body works, this workshop will meet you right where you are. We’ll break down the anatomy in an accessible way and move through practices designed to restore coordination, ease, and embodied awareness from the inside out.

Ovarian cancer is often called the silent killer. But the body often whispers first. Symptoms are often subtle, vague, and easy to dismiss. If symptoms are new, persistent, and unusual, do not ignore them.

Know early signs:
• Persistent bloating
• Pelvic or abdominal discomfort
• Feeling full quickly
• Urinary urgency or frequency

Important to know:
• There is no reliable screening test for average-risk women.
• Awareness matters.
• Genetic testing such as BRCA may help identify higher risk for some families.
• Trust what you feel. Seek support when something feels off.

Save and share. Awareness helps.

I got into Star Wars because of my son when he was in his early teens. It became something we enjoyed together, and he loved explaining all the parts my husband and I did not understand.

Of course my mind noticed this: Darth Vader might be stressed, but his breathing was solid. Slow, deep, controlled breathing helps calm the nervous system.

And the Jedi were onto something too. Presence. Awareness. Not reacting to every thought. Maybe Star Wars is more than sci-fi. Maybe it is breathing and mindfulness training too.

Tell me, are you more Darth Vader breathing or Jedi mindfulness today?

Thank you to everyone who joined the April 250K Step Challenge. If walking felt good, keep going this month. You can keep the same goal or adjust it higher or lower based on how April went.

Try this simple hydration goal:
• Start your morning with water
• Carry a water bottle
• Drink consistently through the day
• Add electrolytes if needed
• Increase water intake on warmer days

Comment WATER if you want to join.

Sometimes healing starts with being heard. One thing I notice again and again in my work. Women are not only looking for solutions. They want someone who understands what their body is experiencing.

Healing often begins in a quieter way.
• Not rushing
• Not immediately trying to fix everything
• Listening to what the body is communicating

Symptoms tell a story. Stress patterns tell a story. Hormones and pelvic health tell a story. When there is space to listen, the body often responds. Thank you to every woman who trusts me with her care and her journey. If you want support where your experience is heard and understood, reach out to learn more about working together.
