✨ Today I have had the incredible opportunity to spend a day learning directly from Jennie Bjorem herself at a one-day Bjorem Speech event! We dug deep into best practices for helping children with Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS).

CAS is a motor speech disorder that makes it hard for kids to plan and coordinate the precise movements needed for clear speech. Children with apraxia need specialized assessment and treatment that looks very different from typical speech therapy.

If you’ve ever wondered whether your child’s speech struggles might be more than just a delay, please don’t wait, early identification and the right therapy can make a world of difference.

📚✨ Our Summer Book Club is Underway! ✨📚

As one of our sweet learners calls it, “summer book club” is in full swing and today, something truly special happened.

Thanks to a generous donor, we were able to gift an 8-week summer reading package to a child who was recently placed in foster care. This child is heading into 6th grade and is currently struggling to read. Because of this donation, they’ll now receive consistent literacy support, encouragement, and a chance to build confidence in a safe, supportive environment.

We’re already learning so much together and even teaching the parents a few things along the way! Did you know that every syllable has a vowel? That’s just one of the cool foundational facts we’re exploring as we build strong reading brains. 🧠💬

This is the kind of impact that changes lives of children in West Virginia. 💛💙

This summer (June - August), give your child the chance to build confidence, strengthen their reading skills, and stay on track with private 1:1 literacy support—perfect for kids entering Kindergarten through 3rd grade.

Our 30-minute sessions focus on:
• Phonemic awareness
• Decoding & blending
• Sight word recognition
• Reading fluency & confidence

We use evidence-based strategies, including Equipped for Reading Success, in a fun, supportive setting tailored to your child’s needs.

Pricing:
• $45 per session (pay-as-you-go)
