They finally schedule me for OT!

I thought I would update you guys, so yesterday physical therapy called me and set up my first appointment to do occupational therapy for my wristdrop! I’ll be starting May 4th which happened to be one of my favortie days of the year. Star Wars day!!

I’m so excited guys, I’ve been waiting over a month now and my next appointment after that will be May 11th and we we go from there. I’m just happy I can start it and hopefully get my wrist working again because Wristdrop is no joke. It’s so hard to do anything and I’ve been struggling with everything. But finally having this appointment set has made me so happy! I had to share it with you guys!

Also I feel pretty today so I thought why not share a picture of me and my wrist brace. Silly I know but even though I hate a physical therapy and occupational therapy I’m so happy to get started and hopefully it helps so I don’t need surgery. But I will keep you guys updated! One month with Wristdrop! 😩

Hey guys so it’s been one month now that I have wristdrop and it’s not getting any better! I still can’t move my wrist or fingers. Still struggling with everything. And omg I just want it to get better!
•
But on some good news, my P*P sent the referral over so I can start physical therapy on my wrist, hand, and fingers! Now I’m just waiting for them to call me so I can get scheduled to start doing PT. Why does it take forever for them to call you? My doctor sent the referral over on Monday and I have yet to hear from them. Like what?? Oh and it’s still looking like I’m going to need surgery.

But in some good news I can kinda crochet. However I’m struggling really bad and going so slow. Which sucks but I call that a win.
•
I just wanted to share this with you guys because I can’t believe it’s already been 1 month that I’ve had this and it’s not getting any better whatsoever. But I’m trying my hardest to stay positive. Even though I don’t feel, I’m trying, and it’s okay to be upset, frustrated, mad, depressed, all of it! It’s okay. But just remember you are not alone and we got this! So if you’re not doing the best, having a bad pain day, or just upset like me. Know you are not alone! I’m right here with you and for you. Always. So I’ve been really negative, sad, upset, just everything since my Wristdrop happened and just not in a good head space (I’m not going to hurt myself or anything. I’m just being totally honest with you guys.) But see that trailer made me so excited, happy, and honest it was something I needed. It made me feel so much better and just happy.
•
So find something little or big to make you excited and happy. Because even though I’m still upset about my wrist, I truly needed this. It just made me feel so much better. But I wanted to share that with you and let you guys know sometimes finding something small, silly, a movie coming out, anything will help you feel better. And is something you didn’t know you needed.
•
But yeah I just wanted to share that with you because like I said I’ve been in a bad head space and seeing that trailer today truly made me happy. But please know if you’re feeling like me you are not alone. You are never alone. I’m right here and I’ll always be here. So in my last post I told you I would post the video I made just venting and what’s going on. I know I sound very negative, but that’s just how I feel right now. And I will always be honest with you guys. I will always be honest and tell you the good and the bad. Because both are important.

But yeah that’s how I’m doing and feeling. Not good. Sad. Mad. Depressed. All of it and like I said I’ll show you all of it. Happy St. Patrick’s Day.

So as you can see I still have left Wristdrop and it’s not getting better. I’m sorry I haven’t posted in a while, I’m just not in a good mindset. I’ll post a video I made on TikTok and tell you guys more about that.

I thought I would also show you my morning because me and my boyfriend did celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. ✨Yes I know I look healthy and fine. But I’m not. I’m not faking. If anything I’m faking looking healthy. And you have to have try to have fun even when you feel like crap. Don’t let anyone tell you, you can’t, or you’re faking. Because you’re not. You’re trying to live life with your disability and being chronically ill. It’s not easy, it’s hard and unfair.✨
•
But my doctor did send a referral so I can get this test done called EMG and after that we will go from there. I’m just so mad, upset, depressed, all of it right now. And the fact that this can last up to 3-6 MONTHS. I can’t. I literally can’t.
•
So hopefully they call me back and schedule the appointment to have the test done soon and we can start getting my wrist back to normal. But I love you guys. Again I’m sorry I’ve been MIA this is just so hard. But I love you and thank you for allowing me to share my life with you. ♡♡♡

Hey guys so yesterday I went to ER because I’m still coughing, running a fever, body aches, chest hurts, and a running nose. And to see WTH is going on with my wrist.
•
So they did a CT of my lungs, came back okay and a CT on my head, That came back normal. So I have upper respiratory infection.🙃
•
So on my wrist, I have freakin left Wristdrop. I never heard of that before. Like ever! So a Wristdrop is where the wrist is bent down along with your fingers and can’t move them at long. And it’s cause by:
1. Trauma or injury to the nerve
2. Compression or entrapment
3. Nerve damage.
4. Systemic
5. Tumor or masses
6. Information
7. Infection
•
I didn’t do any of that, when I told/show him (I woke up)in the morning and woke up to my arm looking like it did (score wright to see.) And he thought I was faking it!! Rude. 🙄
•
But after a CT of my chest and brain they said I have a respiratory infection and left wrist drop. So they gave me brace and told me to wear it 24/7 except we’re gonna take a shower. And OMG it felt better. Because I was having numbness and that feeling you get what you arm or leg falls asleep.
•
So I gotta make an appointment with my P*P and what we’re gonna do to fix this. But I just wanted to share this with us guys. I love you and thank you for allowing me to share my life with you. ♡♡♡

So I’m so sorry I haven’t posted in a little bit. After surgery, I had complications from it. Than my boyfriend got sick, and gave whatever he had to me! So I haven’t felt good or heavy energy to post.

So you guys know I love sharing my nails with you and I hope you love it as well! But this is the color I picked! I should have done a green because St. Patrick’s Day is coming up but this blue was calling me!

If you’re a Detroit Lions fan, I know it looks like Honolulu blue, but it’s not! It’s like a light/dark blue! It’s so hard to tell in pictures but I love the color, shape, and length! You can see the color a little better in the next pictures. I even had a different lady do my nails, than my regular nail lady, but she killed it! I love them so much!
