Had the opportunity to give a seminar to members of NAEBA on Harvesting Velvet Antler. We shared the proper techniques and times for cutting the best quality velvet. We also taught best practices for keeping the animals happy and healthy during the velveting process.

The Twins!
Last spring we were lucky enough to have a set of bull calf twins born on our farm. It is extremely rare for an elk to give birth to twins, especially ones that both survive. Will be interesting to see their similarities in velvet antler growth throughout the years.

-We only process Grade A velvet antler that was harvested at the correct time.
-Any antler that shows signs of over-calcification is not used in our product.
