My name is Tara and I have struggled with food my entire life. My weight has gone from one extreme to the other over and over again as I would cycle between emotional/binge eating and restricting food with whatever gimmicky fad diet or pill would promise me quick results. I’ve tried so many things and as I reached my early 40s I just gave up. My weight climbed to my heaviest of almost 300 lbs. I can’t even tell you how miserable I was both physically and emotionally. I just couldn’t stand the way I felt anymore. It was no way to live and I had far too many reasons to get myself to a healthier state. Over the past year I have worked on my mindset and adapted healthier habits when it comes to food. As the weight started coming off and I started to feel better, I began working out. So far I’m down 65 lbs. and I’m not stopping there!

My name is Sadie! I HAVE LOST OVER 80 POUNDS!!! •
I am 21 (almost 22) years old and on a major weight loss journey! I have had no surgery or intervention! I have done this all through exercise and nutrition!!

At my highest, I weighed in at 267.4 lbs. I had run out of excuses for gaining weight, admitted I was overeating and lazy, and kicked my butt into gear!! I cut carbs, increased protein and count calories! •
I started on December 13th, 2017. I got down to 193lbs!! In 5months, I lost 75lbs!!!

Over the summer of 2018 though, I got back into some bad habits and gained back 40 lbs😓but no need to worry! In November 2018 I got myself together again! I’m currently 186lbs!!! And I’m nowhere near done!! •

This weight loss has not only changed my body and my life, but also has given me the opportunity to help others through my experiences!! I don't know if this is normal, but sometimes I miss the girl in the first picture. Sometimes I miss the invisible accompanied by obesity. Everyone pays the most attention to the physical journey, but its emotional and mental aspects are real obstacles. Weight loss has discovered a lot of things that I have prepared. About myself, my relationships and those of others. Donel misunderstood me - I'm glad I changed my life for the better and am happy to be present - but it's like I have to relearn how to live correctly. Obesity is deeply rooted in my identity and now I don't know who I am. I'm not someone like me, and I will never be her again. But I always admired her for having the power to do what she did, and she did it for me.

Which of these would you choose right now ?! Let me know in the comments! 👇👇👇 Spoiler alert💥: Although you THINK you want to eat oreos all day when you live without food rules, TBH? You probs win the want! Es Yes, they are happy, but ya probs will feel super fab do it forever, right? Our bodies are quite intelligent if we allow them to perform our ladder and will tell us to feel as good as fuel. BUT we must allow them to do that by giving up our food rules.
Certainly you may want oreos more often than not in the beginning, which is normal. But then, you will be like Man Man, those strawberries sound AMAZE 'and that natural sweetness is what you really want. Do you think that will happen to you? Neither the girls in SociEATy have a day when I log into our own Facebook group and see pictures of fresh fruit! Believe in the process, it's scientific.
Being able to enjoy both oreos and strawberries in a way that feels good is what freedom is about. Some days you want to have oreo🍪, some days you want strawberries🍓 and some days (most days) you want a mix!

I grew up morbidly obese. My entire life revolved around obesity! Health and fitness literally saved my life. ⠀⁣
It’s not about how I look today; it’s about how I feel. It’s about the changes I made. ⠀⁣
Yes I had surgery. Yes I had my skin removed. But that takes NOTHING away from the hours spent on my hard work. 5-6 Days a week for the last 3 years I’ve been going to the gym and putting 100% of my heart into it. For the last 3 years I’ve been making healthier choices for myself with a balanced, clean diet. Surgery did not do that. Surgery will never do that. It will never be the easy way out. ⠀⁣
Nothing and nobody made me loose weight, other than myself. I told myself to wake up everyday and chase after my dream & that was to loose weight. I was about to hit 300lbs at 17 years old, and I told myself, I refuse to live like this anymore. ⠀⁣
Walking was hard. Bending over was hard. Talking long sentences was fu***ng hard. LIVING A NORMAL LIFE WAS HARD! ⠀⁣
Now; I’m on my way to be a future competitor. To body build and live the truth that anything is possible.⠀⁣
Nothing is stopping you from changing. Absolutely nothing. There is no quick fix to getting up and doing what needs done. But I will tell you this; explore your options. ⠀⁣
Try different things. See what works for you. Nobody is the same, my path may not work for you, but maybe it will. Get out of your comfort and research your questions, trial answers error anything you want to try! ⠀⁣
People will discredit my work and say I took the easy way out.. I see it as, I saved my life. And I have a second chance at a life. I’m healthy. I am happy. And I’m extremely at peace with the lifestyle I learned to love. Comments will always be said; but nothing will take away from the hours spent in the gym or the late nights meal prepping; all because it felt good, to live healthy. ⠀⁣
Every mile ran, I’m thankful for. Every mess up, I’m thankful for. Every breakdown, and every happy dance, I’m thankful for. Because every moment is and will forever be worth it for the life I live today. And I’m thankful I’m healthy enough to see today.⠀⁣

"I really love this weight loss smoothie because it tastes super-decadent, but in reality is just loaded with a ton of natural, unprocessed and healthful ingredients. The cocoa powder is a good source of flavanoids that are both brain and heart-healthy, and also makes the smoothie taste like I've added a ton of chocolate. In addition to the healthy cocoa, this smoothie also has other healthy ingredients like raspberries that are a source of immune-boosting vitamin C, and the spinach that's a source of energizing B vitamins.
