My Story

In February 2010 I was introduced to a little program called P90X. At that time, hard to believe, I was 305 lbs. My motivation that particular spring was a vacation that I was going to be taking in the summer. We were going to visit 4 amusement parks in 5 days (ended up bing 5 in 6 days, but I digress) Three months later, I had shredded down to about 255 lbs. I was able to ride all of the rides I had wanted to that summer, all the while was in the best shape of my adult life.

In March of that same year, a good friend, and fellow Cedar Point goer, saw I was getting results with P90X. He told me I could pay getting in shape forward to others, and perhaps help many people. I initially told him no, no thanks, not interested. He didn’t stop ;-) In April of 2010, I became a Beachbody Coach, and I’ve never regretted a day since.

Fast forward to today, 2018... I have had some set-backs health & fitness wise over the past few years, really just fitness wise (knock on wood)... Gained a bunch of weight back and have been kinda just not caring. And with that my business has suffered as well. Shocking right? But who hasn’t been there? Life just gets in the way of things. Sometimes grabs and holds on to you longer than you intend it to. You get into some bad habits and you dabble here and there trying to get back into shape.

Since 2014, I’ve been at or above 300 lbs again, with my high of 336 lbs in early 2016. I’ve gotten it back down as low as 301, twice, in the past couple of years. But just can’t get it over that last little bit.
