Restorative Stretching taps into your parasympathetic nervous system, which is responsible for balancing the body. By stimulating this system, you experience a lower heart rate and blood pressure, along with a deep sense of relaxation. This also helps stimulate your immune and endocrine systems in a healthy way. When you experience stress or feel overwhelmed, it is the parasympathetic nervous system that restores balance. Special attention will be placed on alignment, and relaxation, through proper use of the breath.

This class is held at 8:00 AM every Tuesday & Thursday!

Equipment for this class: body weight, bands or towel, blankets,tennis/lacrosse balls, and foam roller.
