Please join us in welcoming our newest provider, Graham Carter, Family Nurse Practitioner, to King’s Daughters Primary Care Clinic!

We’re proud to introduce a familiar face to many in our community, someone who has been caring for patients at KDMC for years.
Beginning his journey at KDMC in 2017 as a registered nurse, he has spent much of his career serving patients in our Emergency Department. With nearly nine years of healthcare experience, he’s already built a reputation for the way he cares for his patients.
He was named KDMC Employee of the Year in 2023 and the Daily Leader's Best of Southwest Mississippi Nurse of the Year in 2025, a reflection of the care and professionalism he brings to every patient interaction.

He holds an Associate’s Degree in Nursing from Copiah-Lincoln Community College, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Western Governors University, and a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Alabama. He is also certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
When asked why he chose healthcare, he shared:
“Healthcare really chose me. From the moment I stepped into the ER at KDMC as a student, I knew this was what I was called to do. It’s all about the patients. There’s nothing more fulfilling than making a positive impact in someone’s life.”

Outside of work, he is a proud Brookhaven native who enjoys spending time with his wife, Kayla, and their growing family, including their son and another baby on the way.
