Kick off the holiday season by celebrating Small Business Saturday with us at Homegrown Jewelry & Wolfpeach’s first annual holiday pop-up at THE CARRIAGE HOUSE in Jeffersonville, for a cozy day of festive cheer, cozy drinks, & shopping local.

Check off your list with unique, locally handcrafted gifts from some of our favorite Vermont makers: think beautiful ornaments, jewelry, elixirs & holiday treats.

Milagro with Siber Sled Dogs will be joining us with her pups, Jenna’s Promise will be pouring freshly roasted coffee. Our own Meg D’Elia with hot frothy Wildcat bevy’s topped with GRIM REAPER MAPLE MARSHMALLOWS, spiked if you like! Homegrown Jewelry’s forever bracelet bar will be set up.

We’re so excited to be joined by the exceptionally talented Heather Wood, who will be debuting her handcrafted holiday ornaments, Rosemary D’Elia who will be there with homemade biscotti & other baked goods, & 88 year old Grammy Joan who will be showcasing her handmade gnomes & table runners.

We’ll have wreaths & garland from our friends at Northern Vermont Christmas Tree Farm. After you shop, you can head up the hill to Lapand Road to get your tree from their llama farm!

UNDER THE STRAWBERRY MOON. in the midst of the strawberry spell, here’s a reminder to take full advantage of this brief & beautiful season & support small farms that are doing it right. 1st place on the dirty dozen list, non-organically grown strawberries are flush full of pesticide residue, exposure to which is linked to endocrine disruption, neurotoxicity & a myriad of other detrimental health effects. the country’s major strawberry farms demand that a predominantly migrant workforce hunch over for 10 hours a day, irreversibly damaging the structure of their bodies, while enduring exposure to chemicals that cause many workers constant nausea, muscle weakness & eye/ skin irritation- often for as little as $2.25 an hour. furthermore, TASTE. they’re like tomatoes. the difference in flavor between a fake flavorless forced available year round strawberry, and one that was lavishly laying around in the sun just yesterday is NIGHT & DAY. so on the off chance that you don’t care about social justice or humanity, you can at least f**k driscoll for that. in conclusion: IF YOU LOVE STRAWBERRIES, which if you have a pulse, you do: get them locally, get them from farmers you know, get them now & preserve their divine flavor for enjoyment later in the year because that fake s**t available in november AIN’T WORTH IT! or we’ll just do it for you. working on some enchanting encapsulations of this sublime harvest from 🧨

NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK. been busy moving into our first COMMERCIAL KITCHEN which we get the profound pleasure of sharing with the babes over at . queen of their crew HALEY BLAIR landed us all a lavishly furnished industrial, spacious & downright PALACIAL cocina in downtown morrisville. WE HAVE A DISHWASHER! & A WALK-IN FRIDGE! & A MILLION BOWLS! stainless steel everywhere! floor to ceiling stained glass windows! ovens that don’t double as storage space! counter space that exceeds the three-foot elliptical island we’re used to! a basement to stack boxes in! an office! shelves! again: a DISHWASHER!! kids in a candy shop over here. coming from a home kitchen with minimal equipment & minimal room, this is monumental. looking forward to making this precious spot into a conduit for all the magnificent goods our local farmers bring to the table. thank you SO MUCH. to everyone who helped bring this dream to fruition. grateful doesn’t cover it. A DISHWASHER FFS! pinch me. cheers to leveling up! 💋🍾
