❤️❤️❤️

My practice relies on human to human contact, meaning I cannot just “work from home”. Due to this uncertain and challenging time, I am asking for your help! This is a real reversal for me since it is me who is always ready to help but here I am.

Any donation you can provide will be met with deep gratitude, and all funds raised will go to expenses including rent, insurance, utilities, and needles and other supplies. I love my job and look forward to the day I can once again be and integral part of the community’s health and well-being.

Can not stop recommending swimming classes for babies. It is not only good for strengthening immune system but also creates strong trust between baby and caregiver! And it is so much fun as well ☀️😊

Basal body temperature chart •
Who needs it?

If you want to get pregnant or just regulate your me**es, do it!

BBT chart gives valuable information about hormonal fluctuations and for me as traditional Chinese medicine practitioner it shows fluctuations of Yin and Yang ☯️ substances. •
BBT charting requires that you start taking your basal temperature on Day 1 of your cycle – which is defined as the first day of menstrual bleeding. Take your temperature every day and record on a graph chart. Your graph should follow a similar (but by no means exact) diagram as the image below.

How to take Basal body temperature?
Basal temperature refers to your resting or base temperature at the minute you wake up in the morning. Take your basal temp immediately upon waking – after at least four to five hours of sleep (do not get up, go to the bathroom, drink water, etc, just roll over, take your thermometer off the nightstand, and place in mouth). Once you get a reading, write it on the chart.

If your BBT chart is far away from perfect, don’t hesitate to contact us and schedule your appointment at the office or online!

Prenatal Care 🤰🏻🤰🏼🤰🏾

During pregnancy body undergoes some amazing changes. Our body is incredible but with all of these changes can result in a number of unpleasant conditions. •

We are here to help you to go through all of these transformations and discomforts with holistic treatments such as acupuncture and massage therapy. * Massage and acupuncture are helpful throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum period.

The goal for prenatal massage and acupuncture is to minimize stress, alleviate body pain, encourage lymph and blood flow, relieve headaches, promote relaxation, and prepare the body and mind for childbirth.

Acupuncture can help with morning sickness, swollen legs/ feet, back pain, sciatica, anxiety, sleeping issues during pregnancy.

Postpartum recovery

Postpartum recovery period can last from 1 months to an year. Some need more time for full recovery.

About importance of food:

In Traditional Chinese medicine there are foods that help to build energy and blood lost during childbirth and produce breast milk.

Eat warm and well cooked foods that are easy to digest. I recommend soups and stews.

Avoid raw and cold food and icy- cold drinks. If you want to eat salads, slightly grill, roast or bake vegetables.

Add warm spices like ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, pepper, cardamom and fennel when cooking.

I can’t stop to recommend broth! Especially during this period. You can drink it or use it as a base for soups or stews. It gives a lot of essential nutrients and minerals, and boost breast milk production if you are breastfeeding mom.

Eggs, berries such as strawberries, blueberries, mulberries, go ji berries, raspberries, beets, handful nuts a day are great for rebuild Blood and Yin.

Stay hydrated! Remember no cold water!

Hot cereal with buckwheat, rice, quinoa are good start of the day or pick your favorite.

Don’t forget about postnatal vitamins.

Find time for your to get massage, acupuncture, meditation or just a minute of mindfulness practice

Keep in mind, healthy and happy mother = happy and healthy baby and whole family!!!

All recommendations are general. For my patients who go through “Postpartum Recovery Journey” program I add herbal supplements as well.

To begin your personalized “Postpartum Recovery Journey” program, contact me or ask your local TCM practitioner.
