It’s hard to believe Marcus is only 12 when you see the way he carries himself. This day, he wore his USA jersey proud, completing a grueling 40+ mile bike ride and even jumping on the microphone to speak to a crowd of over 100 people in the opening ceremonies.
Between his public speaking confidence and his dedication on the mats (he’s a Taekwondo black belt and avid Jujitsu student), he proves day in and day out that discipline pays off.

🇺🇸 MARK YOUR CALENDARS, BROWNSVILLE! 🇺🇸
Join us this Memorial Day as we come together to honor, remember, and pay tribute to our fallen troops at the 27th Annual Memorial Day Silent March.
All Valley veterans, families, and community members are welcome and encouraged to participate in this meaningful event.
📅 Date: Monday, May 25th
🕙 Time: 10:00 AM Sharp
📍 Start Location: Corner of H-E-B on Central Blvd & Boca Chica
🏁 End Location: Brownsville Veterans Park (next to the Public Library)
Event Details:
The March: A solemn 1-mile “Silent March” to the park.
The Ceremony: Following the march, there will be an official ceremony, a 21-Gun Salute, and a flag-raising.
What to Bring: Your favorite patriotic outfits, lawn chairs, and umbrellas.
Refreshments: Complimentary hot dogs, water, and refreshments will be provided courtesy of Cobbleheads, the Brownsville Marathoners Running Club, and the Knights of Columbus.
Let’s fill the streets with gratitude and pride. See you there! 🦅✨

Hey Gladiators, mother nature has thrown us a curveball. ⛈️
After talking it through with the team at Resaca de la Palma State Park, it was decided to postpone the X-PEDITION Gladiator event. Between the threat of lightning and the reality of what heavy rain and mud would do to ruin the park’s beautiful trails, it’s the right call for both your safety and the environment.
We are incredibly bummed, but we promise to bring the energy even harder on the rescheduled date! Hold tight—we will email all registered participants with the new date and details very soon. Stay safe and dry out there! 💪🍂
