It's our first week back! And our new cohort (Class of 2027) are jumping straight in! From solving murder mysteries for team building to getting to know their directional terms with their stuffed animals.

They have a long two years to go, but if it's anything like this first week, they'll do great!💙

✔️🐾Our Summer Anesthesia & Surgical Assist Course is complete!🐾✔️

These students learned soooo much in these 10 weeks. They have been pushed and pushed some more to a high standard we know they can achieve.

This Summer we spayed/neutered 20 cats/dogs!

Had the honor of helping Aggieland Safari with a dental cleaning on Butters, their kinkajou. It was an amazing learning opportunity for all involved. 💙

This week our second year students performed Comprehensive Oral Assessments and Treatments (also known as COHAT or dental cleanings). 🐾🦷🐾

They worked on multiple patients including small dogs, large dogs, and even a kinkajou!

We love to see our students put their education and skills into action! We also love the satification they receive from taking a dog with dental disease to a fresh start (check out the before and after photos).

And what's a dental day with out some cuddling 🤍💙🐾

🦷This week our students had the honor of working with Mary Berg, RVT, VTS (Dentistry) with Beyond the Crown Training. 🦷

They were instructed on full Comprehensive Oral Health Assessment and Treatments, dental radiographs, and nerve blocks. It was a great two days of learning for all of us.

Thanks again to Mary for coming out! 🐾 and bonus points if you know what we are "signing" with our hands.
