As a Virgo Sun…perfectionism has been something that always pops up for me. I jokingly say I’m a recovering perfectionist, because it’s something I am intentionally aware of and working on letting go every day. ☀️

So, today I’m showing up authentic, not polished and sharing that heART School is coming in June! It’s a monthly membership and I’m looking for founding members. 🎨

I don’t have all the details, the flyers, the marketing, the content…all the things perfectly done or perfectly ready to go, but I’m announcing it anyway! 📣

New Moon in Ta**us drawing!

Smithsonite Spirit says: “You are haltingly moving forward into creating something new. The ground is firm beneath you, the wind is at your back, and the Conscious Universe is beside you. Just breathe.”

What a fitting message for the new moon! I love that I can take a pen, a sketchbook and draw my intentions with joy and ease.

I’m always amazed at the finished piece…I totally recognize patterns of things that show up in my drawings and then so fun to see unexpected things too.

I’m so thankful to and and the Conscious Universe bringing them together to create The Art of Manifesting ™️! Highly recommend!!

I’ve been working on a project and I always forget to record the process. I created “mini” The Art of Manifesting ™️.

I started with a big piece of watercolor paper, taped off sections, then just played with yellow, purple and gray. Then I cut them into approximately 3x3 size and one by one I used steps to create mini’s. Then I used some embroidery thread to add little stitch details, again, just playing.

Final step was putting them all on another piece of watercolor, and adding some gratitude!

I’m so thankful for having this tool in my toolbox to manifest, rewire and allow! 💜

My first bigger attempt at kinusaiga… a Japanese “no-sew” quilting technique that turns scrap fabric into detailed, painting-like art. Lots of learning…yet the one thing that really stood out was the meditative process of getting the material down into the foam board.

I’m always wanting to try new things…sometimes it’s a one and done, sometimes it’s a “oh yeah, I’d do this again.”This is one of those that yes, I’ll do it again.

As a recovering Virgo perfectionist, I’m proud that I just let the not so perfect go, and instead saw them as unique little creative spots within the piece. Side note: I’m debating whether or not to add some embellishments, which is outside the norm for me, I always think it looks great, leave it alone, but the inner little girl just wants to go wild and try it!

It’s official!!! I’m proud to announce that I am a Certified Teacher in The Art of Manifesting™️ by and and I’m doing a happy dance over here!! 💃

I’ve been quietly working behind the scenes creating content, workshops and retreats incorporating this amazing teaching!

I’m also partnering up with a new business partner and boy are we on fire with ideas! It’s in the creation stage, yet beyond excited for it!

Playing with pastels and letting go of perfection. All that matters is I’m having fun and the colors bring me joy! I also like using paper that has texture, so it was fun to use the watercolor paper with pastels.

Then comes and I’m always surprised by the finished piece that all started with loving energy and an intention.

The one with all the squares as I sat and reflected I thought of all the doors opening for me and having fun choices. Which one will I walk through first?

The second one after looking at it felt like a jellyfish appeared on the paper. Upon reflection and not looking up what jellyfish may represent yet, I felt like I was floating and had a sense of freedom to gently bounce through life.

Thankful to and for bringing The Art of Manifesting™️ to the world! I’m so excited to be an official Certified Teacher for this amazing method.

The Art of Manifesting™️ by and isn’t just about manifesting material “things” it can used for inner peace, to calm the nervous system and so much more!

My husband and I were outside in the cold rain Thursday night from 10pm to 5:30am trying to keep the water out of our basement. We were almost successful, but the water finally won and 2inches of muddy water filled our basement. He went to bed after being up for 24 hours. I couldn’t sleep yet, so I did the one thing I could do in that moment of feeling defeated and exhausted!

I grabbed my art supplies, sat down and went through the steps for the and calmed my nervous system. Did it fix the flooded basement, no! Did it calm my nervous system so I could sleep and wake up feeling grateful? YES!

I have so much to be grateful for and I am so blessed in the big scheme of things. I found peace and calm so much faster and I attribute that to having art and intention in my tool box!

The song title is very fitting for this piece…I was feeling the energy of the world pressed against my heart last night, so I picked up my pastels and my pen and turned to and the page became my sanctuary.

My intention was for the world to be filled with love. After I finished my drawing I felt an inner peace. I can’t change the whole world, but I can carry love. And love is how the world changes.

May your soul remember what it already knows: love is not something you create. It’s something you let move through you. And when it does? The world lights up - one 💜 at a time.
