Exciting news ❤️🇺🇸

I’m now integrating a new program into my practice that helps make medical massage therapy more accessible and affordable for Veterans.

I’ve partnered with Zeel, a provider within the VA Community Care Network, to offer massage therapy covered by VA benefits (with referral).

This isn’t just relaxation massage, it’s clinically focused bodywork designed to help with things like:
• Chronic pain
• Injury recovery
• Muscle tension
• Mobility limitations

This program is for Veterans who:
✔ Are enrolled in VA healthcare
✔ Have a referral from their VA provider
✔ Are dealing with pain, tension, or mobility issues

One of the best parts is that this program is available throughout the state and continuing to grow, meaning more providers are becoming available in different areas.

So even if you (or someone you know) aren’t local to Hancock County, I strongly encourage you to look into it and get established so you can connect with a provider near you.

If you’re local, I’m currently offering:

🚗 Limited in-home visits (as needed)

Also, a local provider some of you may remember from Valentine’s Day massages, Erin N Metcalf, is also a Zeel provider and exclusively offers in-home appointments, so there are multiple options depending on what works best for you.

What is Zeel?

Zeel is a in home based wellness company and app. Licensed massage therapist can provide medical massage, in home massage, businesses and massage therapy brought to your hotel as well ! Available in over 85 major metro areas. FSA and HSA eligible payments.

How can this help veterans ?

With a referral from the clients dr and a designated condition of treatment; referrals are for 12 treatment sessions over a 90 day period. Weekly sessions provide steady support for the client to recover. Massage therapist set goals for recovery and document progress. The VA covers the treatment in network so clients can focus on recovery of pain.

What is passive stretching ?

Gently moving limbs to provide a stretch to muscles. Clients remain passive and focus on breathing help muscles soften, reduce tension, straighten ligaments, and release pressure between joints. Stretches are held for 10-20 seconds. Can improve flexibility, improve circulation, and aid recovery.

What is foot reflexology?

A therapeutic approach with targeted pressure applied to points on the feet believed to correspond to systems, organs, and parts of the body.

What conditions does it help?
Depression
Asthma
Sleep problems
Low back pain
Anxiety
Headaches/ migraines
And more !

Hand reflexology is just about the same just a smaller area to work on.

I am currently filling my hours for earning my hand reflexology certification.

What is cupping?

Silicone flexible cups creates suction and lifts tissues over specific treatment areas. Improves circulation, reduces inflammation, and relaxes muscles. I use techniques stationary cupping and gliding cupping .

What is bamboo heated tools?

The tools I use are bamboo and rose wood. Heated with a dry heat to ease into fascia and muscles simulating blood flow and breaking down knots. A variety of shapes and sizes for targeting specific areas.
Epically as spring days are still sometimes chilly, add this to your massage session and you won't be sorry!

Meet the face behind Devoting Comfort Massage Therapy!

Hello my name is Erin Metcalf!
Devoting Comfort Massage Therapy was established in October 2023.
I wanted to create unique experience of in-home massage therapy and customize comfort levels for each client.
My passion for massage therapy begun when I was a kid and I was looking up foot reflexology maps before I even knew what they were!
I also chose this trade never have even had a massage before. I just knew it was the niche for me!
My work background is as much of a variety as I wanted to carry forward to my business. I did jobs in culinary, CNA, and some schooling in cosmology. With this variety hospitality massage therapy was second nature to me. Schooling for such became my next life goal!
Each client I meet have different goals to improve their life and I'm so happy to be part of that journey!
