While growing up, I had the opportunity to enjoy finishing a great day taking a sauna. Once I moved into my own home, due to property limitations, it was decided best to build a sauna within a trailer. As I know how much I have enjoyed having the ability to bring the sauna experience to my place, the idea arose to build trailer saunas for others to purchase and enjoy. I have now had the opportunity to design, build, and deliver saunas for clients to enjoy. Rolling Steam has acquired the following process for their sauna builds:
- Speak with client on intent of use (e.g for cabin, rental business, backyard, ect.)
- Discuss budget
- - Depending on budget and intent of use, below are the two common paths
A. Purchase drop down trailer frame, and build sauna from frame up
- Once trailer size / type is known, create initial CAD model
- Share CAD model(s) with client for review/revisions
- Receive down payment from client
- Complete sauna build
- Client meets with Rolling Steam to review sauna
- Upon approval of sauna, client completes payment of sauna

For the shell of this sauna it was decided to start with a used enclosed trailer. For additional light into the sauna room, a window has been added.
Next task item, start adding some bench tops.

Rolling Steam's method to convert clients sauna dream into reality
1. Client reaches out to Rolling Steam with expressed interest in Mobile Sauna
2. Rolling Steam and client converse to review clients intended purpose (e.g. personal home use, for cabin, rental), sauna size, budget, and all other major sauna details
3. One of the two options that Rolling Steam offers is selected
- Purchase enclosed trailer, and convert to sauna
- Purchase drop down trailer frame and build complete sauna on frame
4. After trailer type, size, and general layout is determined with client, Rolling Steam will create a CAD layout of the sauna trailer. CAD layout is shared with client to continue fine tuning their future trailer sauna
5. Once sauna layout meets the clients needs, a down payment is made to reserve spot, and start the fabrication of sauna
6. Upon completion of sauna and clients approval, final payments are made and client is the new owner of their trailer sauna!

During the sauna design phase, I enjoy having the opportunity to create CAD models of some sauna layout options. For this sauna build, the client and I went through multiple design revisions until a design was created that met the clients needs.
