We are trying to get the word out for a documentary movie that may be of interest to you, and your clients, friends, and family. It is AWAKE: The Life of Yogananda. People in the yoga, wellness, and meditation communities seem to be interested and buying tickets for this one time screening on Tuesday 11/25/14 at 7:30 pm at the Regal on Transit Rd in Buffalo, NY.

Qigong is the original Mindful Movement Practice. It is an ancient Chinese Health system, that integrates physical movements, breath work, and focused intention along with guided imagery. The slow, gentle movements are easily learned and can be adapted for anyone to do, and can be practiced by any age group! Many of the practices include a connection to the natural environment and to nature itself!
Qigong can be a highly effective health care practice. Many healthcare providers are recommending Qigong as an important form of complementary medicine. Qigong creates an awareness of our internal health that is not a part of western style exercise programs. As Qigong uses the Meridian system of Acupuncture, it helps remove blockages that one might not even be aware of, helping the internal organs to function properly. Adding mind intention, along with breathing techniques to physical movements, the benefits of exercise increase profoundly!
The gentle, rhythmic movements of a consistent Qigong practice can reduce stress, increase vitality, enhance the immune system, calm the mind and create harmony within ourselves, both physically and emotionally. When these aspects of our being are integrated, it encourages a positive outlook on life and helps eliminate harmful attitudes and behaviors, creating better stability of body, mind, and emotions.
Classes forms may change due to the season and needs of the group!
