“Ansuz” is one of those Runes that really drives home the need openness and insight in our lives. Lord knows I’m in for it tonight with all the points I need to mediate on… but I’m grateful it came up and I’m hoping there is a real puppy to grow from here. That being said, I’ll be working on a double feature tomorrow so please be on the look out 🙏 until then, Cheers!

“Uruz” or Strength,
is a rune that symbolizes power in all forms, and often appears when a certain level of force is required in a situation. Does this mean anything to you?

Whether you’re taking on a rival team; trudging through a neverending project; or working up the courage to speak up at work, this rune is a call to take action and push through…. Though I think it’s also valuable to reflect on the wisdom of the ox in this Rune too.

While many immediately think of an ox’s horns, their greatest value has been in what they helped create. Our relationship with the Ox allowed us to cultivate fields that let us feed populations. Their steady power and patience helped clear the space we need led to build whole civilizations. Patience and persistence are essential in forming strong bonds - just be careful not to misapply force, especially in the wrong direction!

I’ve been trying to study Runes on my spare time and these cards are awesome for getting your feet wet. I’m going to be pulling a Rune every morning, so stay tuned in if you want to learn more!
