Mental health matters — and our Bangladeshi senior community deserves support in Bangla.
For the first time, ShahJaan’s Healthcare Training and Services LLC is hosting a Bangla-language mental health workshop for seniors. This session is designed with cultural understanding, compassion, and community connection, providing a safe space to learn, share, and strengthen mental wellbeing.

In collaboration with Erie County Department of Aging and Bangladeshi American Social & Cultural Organization WNY INC. - BASCO WNY, this workshop helps seniors build awareness, coping skills, and support networks to promote mental wellness.

As a counselor, I witness firsthand the strength and courage of survivors — and honor those we’ve lost along this path. 💜

I stopped by today’s Shine the Light Domestic Violence Awareness Walk to show my support for this vital cause. I honor the memory of Kia, the cousin of my dear friend and colleague Lateesha McElrath (Founder & CEO of Community Wellness Works) whose life was tragically taken by domestic violence. I’m deeply grateful to Roslyn Collins and all the organizers — Shades of Rose LLC, Hush No More, and the Family Justice Center — for creating spaces that raise awareness, bring hope, and save lives.

Grateful for ShahJaan’s Healthcare Training and Services LLC’s role in advocating for survivors and honoring those we’ve lost, and proud to work through our business to support the community with counseling, mentorship, and holistic health initiatives.
