If potty training isn’t working… it might not be what you think it is.

If you’re exhausted.
If you’ve been “trying” for months.
If you’re questioning yourself.
If you’re wondering what you’re doing wrong…
Pause.

Your child might not be resisting you.
They might be struggling.

I see it all the time:
Chronic constipation that no one caught.Withholding because it hurts.Sensory sensitivities that make the toilet overwhelming.Little bodies that don’t yet recognize their signals.Power struggles that started when they simply weren’t ready.

This isn’t about bribes or sticker charts. And it’s not about you failing.

Sometimes there’s a medical or developmental layer that needs to be addressed first.

As a Nurse Practitioner, I don’t just look at behavior. I assess bowel and bladder patterns, constipation prevention and treatment, and the whole child.

You deserve support.Your child deserves understanding.

✨ Book an in-office potty assessment and receive ONE FULL MONTH of follow-up support from me, completely FREE, so you’re not navigating this alone.
Virtual options also available throughout the USA

If your toddler isn’t talking much… should you wait to potty train? 👀

The short answer? Not necessarily.

When we talk about potty training readiness, we have to separate expressive language (what your child can say or show) from receptive language (what your child understands).

Receptive language is often more important.
Can your child:• Follow simple directions like “let’s go potty”• Understand words like p*e, p**p, wet, bathroom• Identify the potty in pictures• Point, gesture, or lead you when they need something

For nonverbal children, gestures absolutely count. Pointing to a picture of a toilet, bringing you to the bathroom, tugging at a diaper, that is communication. If they understand and can intentionally communicate, that matters.

Potty training (like most things in child development) is rarely black and white. Every child is different. That’s why I can’t give a blanket yes or no without assessing your child’s language skills, body awareness, sensory profile, and overall readiness.

If you’re unsure whether your toddler is ready, let’s take the guesswork out of it.

✨ I’m offering reduced pricing on in-office potty readiness sessions right now✨ PLUS 1 month of follow-up support free if you book in March✨ Virtual options available throughout the USA

Potty training in Western New York just got a whole lot easier. ✨

Starting Friday, March 6th, I’ll be offering in-office potty training support every Friday through mid-April.

Spots are intentionally limited to 2–3 families per day so each child receives true individualized care.

This isn’t a generic 3-day method.
As a Family Nurse Practitioner, I approach potty training from a full clinical and developmental lens. That means we look at:
✔️ Health history✔️ Childhood development✔️ Your child’s temperament✔️ Your parenting values and beliefs✔️ Constipation prevention (before it becomes a setback)✔️ Nutrition patterns✔️ Language and communication factors✔️ An individualized, step-by-step plan tailored specifically to your child

Because potty training struggles are rarely “just behavioral.”

Bookings are officially OPEN.

✨ March Special: Book in March and receive 1 month of follow-up support FREE ($99 value).

If you’re ready for a thoughtful, personalized approach instead of trial and error, this is your window.

Only 2–3 spots available each Friday.

You can book directly on my website under “Potty Training,” or DM me the word MARCH and I’ll send you the link personally.
And if you are out of this phase, send to a mama who can use the help! I also offer virtual throughout the USA 💕

Potty training struggles are rarely just about the potty.

✨I am excited to announce that in 2 weeks, my in-office toddler potty training support officially begins.

Starting Friday, March 6th, I’ll be seeing families every Friday for 6 weeks at Buffalo Sp*ech Path in Williamsville, NY.

Spots are intentionally limited to 2–3 families per day so each family receives truly individualized care.

This is not a one-size-fits-all “3-day method.”
Each package includes:✔️ A comprehensive readiness / regression assessment✔️ A full nutrition review and evaluation of medical factors that may be contributing✔️ Assessment of behavioral, developmental, sensory & communication influences✔️ A customized, step-by-step plan for your child✔️ Clear parent guidance so you feel confident implementing it

Because I’m located inside a sp*ech office, if communication is playing a role in the struggle, seamless referrals can be made.

I am a Family Nurse Practitioner with an extensive maternal-child background, and a mama to a toddler and 6-year-old myself. I understand both the clinical side and the real-life side.

✨ March Special: Book in March and receive 1 month of follow-up support FREE ($99 value).

POV: I’m headed to a newborn + lactation visit 🤍

When I walk into a family’s home, I’m not just there to “watch a feed.”

And what you didn’t see in this video:
🍼 A baby scale for weighted feeds so we can objectively measure milk transfer👶 A tongue blade for a full oral exam🩺 A pediatric stethoscope to assess suck/swallow patterns when needed

Because guessing isn’t good enough when it comes to your baby.

Whether we’re addressing weight gain, latch pain, pumping, reflux, sleep, or overall newborn fussiness, I look at the full picture.

If your newborn only settles when being held, cries when you put them down, or feels hard to soothe, you are NOT doing anything wrong & you are not "spoiling" your baby 🤍

Newborns are adjusting to life outside the womb, and many babies calm best when their environment feels familiar. The 5 S’s of soothing help recreate that womb-like comfort and support your baby’s developing nervous system. Baby’s also can sense when parents feel unsettled themselves.

✨ The 5 S’s include:
• Swaddling (safely) to reduce the startle reflex
• Side/Stomach holding while awake and supervised to help calm crying (always place baby on their back for sleep)
• Shushing or white noise to mimic womb sounds
• Swinging or rhythmic movement like gentle rocking or walking
• Sucking through feeding or a pacifier to support regulation

These techniques usually work because newborns are biologically wired to respond to motion, sound, and containment. When used safely and appropriately, they can make a huge difference in helping babies settle and helping parents feel more confident.

As a Family Nurse Practitioner & Mama Coach, inside my newborn classes, we actually practice these soothing techniques hands-on so families feel prepared BEFORE baby arrives.

If your newborn feels extra fussy, unsettled, or difficult to soothe, you’re not alone 💗 I have a free Fussy Newborn Guide that explains common causes of newborn fussiness!

If your baby finishes a bottle in just a few minutes, seems extra gassy, or gets fussy during feeds… this might help you 👇

Most parents are never taught how to bottle feed, but the way a baby is fed can make a huge difference in comfort, digestion, and feeding success.

Paced bottle feeding helps:• Give your baby control over the sp*ed of the feed• Help babies recognize fullness cues• Mimic a more natural breastfeeding flow• Reduce gas, spit up, and feeding stress• Support combo feeding families

Simple changes like positioning baby more upright, slowing the flow, and allowing feeding pauses can completely change the feeding experience for many families.

If feeding has been stressful, overwhelming, or your baby seems extra fussy during bottles, you’re not alone 💗 As a Family Nurse Practitioner and Lactation Consultant I help teach families this all of the time.

I created a free Fussy Newborn Guide that walks through the most common reasons newborns become unsettled.
