Get ready for a photo blast! Last month myself and a group of dedicated Earth Walkers participated in the 3rd Annual Niagara Falls Ancient Earth Honoring Water Despacho Ceremony, & Drum Circle My hectic schedule has kept me from posting about this magnificent event, as I wanted to do it the justice it deserved! In attendance, were myself, Andrea Groves, Chakuna Machi Asa Kimberly Schena Brandie Kristle Furniss from The Body Oracle and her son, Sharon Duggan Pamela Hauth, Patricia & Johanna with photos and video by Kristina Yerger , and a curious bystander who was welcomed in to join us halfway through, beautiful Shanti.
The photos take you through our day of sacred ceremony, from opening the circle to share lovingly about who we each are, to connecting deeply with the trees (malkikunas), plants and animal allies (awkikunas), the waters of the Mighty Niagara, to connecting in with our own vibration as Chakuna Machi Asa led us through a reverent session of chants and celestial music. We broke bread together, further deepening our relationships, and finishing big with healing water prayers and a Despacho ceremony that we loosed into the river, on its way down the falls.
It is my goal to see this become an international event, the positive feedback I get each year is humbling and feeds my fires. So enjoy the pictures. You'll see the love that was flowing strong that day.
