🥙Quick easy beef kebab “Treager edition “ .. if you want a quick flavorful lunch, dinner, meal prep recipe this is for you! I paired mine with a cucumber salad , hummus and cilantro lime rice and of course pitas on the side.
•PREP TIME- 20 minutes mins
•COOK TIME- 8 minutes mins
•TOTAL TIME- 28 minutes mins
INGREDIENTS:
•1 medium yellow onion quartered
•1 cup fresh parsley washed and patted dry
• 2 lbs ground beef lean
•1 teaspoon salt
•¼ teaspoon black pepper
•¼ teaspoon seven spice blend
•¼ teaspoon cayenne (more taste spice) I opted out for my kids
INSTRUCTIONS:
1)In the bowl of your food processor, add quartered onion and fresh parsley. Process by pulsing the ingredients until finely chopped.
2)To a large mixing bowl, add ground beef, finely chopped parsley and onion mixture, and all of the spices. Using your hands, mix the ingredients thoroughly.
3)To form the kebabs, take some of the mixture with your hands and mold it around the skewer. The meat around the skewer should be about an inch to an inch and a half thick.
4)Prepare your charcoal or gas grill (Treager 450’F 8 mins ) If using a gas grill, preheat it to medium-high and brush the grill with oil. Place skewers of kafta on the grill. Cook one side for about 4 minutes before turning it over and cooking for another 4 minutes or until the meat is cooked through.
5)Serve immediately.
Quick note “let skewers soak for at least 30mins in water prior to grilling”
