Lately, it feels like hiring has become a game of "beat the algorithm." We’ve traded real conversations for keyword matching, and we’re losing something vital in the process: the HUMAN element.
At Higher Recruitment, we’re big fans of tech, but we know it has a ceiling. An AI bot can tell you if someone can do the job, but it can’t tell you if they’ll care about the person sitting next to them. It can’t feel grit, curiosity, or that specific "spark" that happens during a first handshake.
The truth is, people don’t commit to companies—they commit to people. That first real connection is where trust starts, and trust is the only thing that actually keeps a team together when things get difficult.
